Abstract

Pendidikan pemustaka sangat diperlukan di sebuah perpustakaan apapun jenisnya. Tujuan kegiatan pendidikan pemustaka disesuaikan dengan tingkatan kegiatan pelaksanaannya. Tingkatan pendidikan pemustaka dimulai dari orientasi, instruksi perpustakaan, instruksi bibliografi, sampai dengan instruksi literasi informasi. Peserta pendidikan pemustaka mempunyai kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dalam menyerap materi, ada yang mudah menerimanya melalui visual, auditori, maupun kinestetik. Dalam mengevaluasi kegiatan pendidikan pemustaka bisa menggunakan cara formatif maupun sumatif, tergantung kebutuhan perpustakaan.
