Mediatisasi Perpustakaan dalam Konteks Perubahan Layanan Bercerita Melalui Budaya Visual

Abstract


Budaya visual merupakan budaya yang bertumpu pada unsur-unsur visual sebagai unsur pembentuknya. Mediatisasi di perpustakaan dimaksudkan untuk memahami pentingnya media dalam budaya terkait dengan hubungan media dan perubahan sosio-kultural di perpustakaan. Cerita digital menjadi metode baru bagi pustakawan saat memberikan layanan bercerita. Perubahan yang nampak adanya penggabungan seni bercerita dengan berbagai digital multimedia, seperti gambar, audio, dan video. Hadirnya cerita digital akan mempengaruhi interaksi sosial karena sudah termediasi oleh teknologi. Begitu juga ada perubahan bentuk media yang digunakan oleh pustakawan dalam tugasnya sebagai storyteller di bagian layanan bercerita.
