The rapid development of technology has proven to be able to improve library performance. The issue of public library transformation also requires libraries to provide services needed by the community. The transformation that has rolled out throughout the world demands the readiness of libraries and librarians in every activity. Librarians must be prepared to become facilitators, mentors and teachers. On the other hand, the use of information technology in libraries must be able to support the ecosystem transformation. Social technology can be a right and effective choice to improve library communication with its users. Social technology is expected to be able to establish the emotional bond of the library with the community.References
