Focus and Scope

Jumantara: Jurnal Manuskrip Nusantara is a peer-reviewed journal published by the National Library of Indonesia with the focus on the study of philology and Indonesian Manuscripts. The scope of the journal includes of philology, codicology, palaeography, anthropology, literature, history, language and other multidisciplinary studies based on Indonesian Manuscripts. 

Jumantara: Jurnal Manuskrip Nusantara opens the widest possible opportunity for researchers of Indonesian Manuscripts from all regions of the world to participate in writing scientific articles that are in accordance with the focus and scope of the journal.

 

Journal History

Jumantara: Jurnal Manuskrip Nusantara is  a peer-reviewed journal published by the National Library of Indonesia with the focus on the study of philology and Indonesian Manuscripts, which has been published in print since 2010. Jumantara: Jurnal Manuskrip Nusantara has received a printed ISSN since 2010 with the serial number ISSN 2087-1074 (ISSN Decree no. 0005.034/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2010.07 - July 20, 2010) in the July 2010 edition.

Furthermore, in 2019, Jurnal Manuskrip Nusantara was developed in an online version using the OJS application version 2.3.8.2 with a multiple journal system (along with three scientific journals and one popular magazine published by the National Library of Indonesia). The journal site itself is located at https://ejournal.perpusnas.go.id/jm. The appearance and features of the journal site are still quite simple with the dominance of the basic purple color as a characteristic of Jumantara. This online version of Jumantara uses the ISSN number 2685-7391. In 2022, Jumantara's OJS was upgraded to version 3.4.0.

Jumantara: Jurnal Manuskrip Nusantara has been accredited twice, precisely in 2019 and 2022 with the result of achieving sinta 4. Since 2010, Jumantara has consistently published 2 numbers per year, namely in June and December.
